Ancient pottery, AMMO 1/35

Vasijas antiguas, AMMO 1/35.

One of my latest projects was painting this set of five clay pots that AMMO recently put on sale. They were used to illustrate the box for the Ancient Pottery A.MIG-8941 and the  Clay Colors Set ATOM-20854.

I made the base with a 30x30 mm piece of White Marble. Square Die-cut Marble Tiles A.MIG-8771 to which I added some dry leaves and pigments.

Uno de mis últimos trabajos fue la pintura de este conjunto de cinco vasijas de barro que AMMO puso a la venta recientemente. Se usaron para ilustrar la caja de las Vasijas antiguas A.MIG-8941 y la de los Colores arcillosos ATOM-20854.

La base la realicé con un trozo de 30x30 mm de Mármol blanco. Baldosas cuadradas A.MIG-8771 al que añadí unas hojas secas y pigmentos.

In today’s new video, we continue exploring the ultimate solution for adding weathering effects to your models: the AMMO-exclusive Missing Link. Manu Gil guides you through the process of weathering a 1/48 scale MiG-17F using only this water-soluble weathering solution. However, the same techniques can be used on any project, regardless of subject or scale. 

Manu begins by painting the aircraft using ATOM by AMMO and applying the decals before moving on to the weathering stage. Thanks to its versatility, the Missing Link can be used to create a wide range of effects, including shading, dirt accumulation, dust films, streaking effects, and more. As you will see in the video, each effect is easy to apply and blend using only water—no harsh solvents needed. Because it is water-based, each effect dries quickly. As Manu demonstrates, every effect can be easily blended or even removed completely using just a brush and water, giving you full control over intensity and placement. He also shows how effects can be blended directly on the model’s surface to create realistic variation and smooth transitions.

En este nuevo vídeo seguimos explorando la solución definitiva para añadir efectos de envejecimiento a tus maquetas: el Missing Link, exclusivo de AMMO. Manu Gil te guía a través del proceso de envejecimiento de un MiG-17F en la escala 1/48 utilizando únicamente esta solución de envejecimiento soluble en agua. Sin embargo, las mismas técnicas se pueden utilizar en cualquier proyecto, independientemente del tema o la escala.

Manu comienza pintando el avión con ATOM de AMMO y aplicando las calcas antes de pasar a la fase de envejecimiento. Gracias a su versatilidad, el Missing Link permite crear una amplia gama de efectos, como sombreado, acumulación de suciedad, películas de polvo, efectos de escurridos y mucho más.
